With our team, you can meet with a doctor the same day when you schedule an appointment for telehealth in St. Augustine. With a telemedicine appointment, you can meet with an experienced doctor, get the care you need, and get back to what’s important. Here, we’ll explain how you can meet with a provider with step-by-step instructions.
Step 1) Schedule an Appointment
First, you schedule an appointment with one of our providers. If you are a returning patient, you will use our patient portal to schedule with the provider who has the earliest availability (however, you will have the option to schedule with your regular provider if you’d like). However, if you are a new patient, you will submit a digital form to request an appointment via telehealth in St. Augustine. One of our concierge team members will call you soon after to collect your information, get your insurance, and schedule with the earliest available provider.
Step 2) Receive a Confirmation email
Once your appointment is scheduled, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to attend your telehealth appointment. About 5 minutes before your appointment, you will use your phone, tablet, or computer to open the link and attend the meeting. Make sure the device is fully charged or plugged into a working outlet, and allow the telehealth platform access to your camera and microphone when prompted.
Step 3) Get the Care You Need
Once your provider is ready, they’ll join the call and talk with you about your concerns, providing the same quality care that you would receive during an in-office appointment. They’ll listen to your concerns, ask questions, tell you what they believe the issue is, and offer advice for treatment. If needed, they can submit a request for blood work to better understand the cause of your concerns. And if you need another follow-up appointment, virtual or in-person, your provider can help you schedule that for the appropriate time.
